H2E Foundation is currently involved in a community-initiated project aimed at building a Health Center in Aligula Village in Kakamega County in Western Kenya. For more information please follow this link to read about the project. Through the kind donations of community members, they were able to raise part of the money to pay off the land/grounds where the future Aligula Dispensary will be built.

The inhabitants of Aligula Village have to travel long distance to receive basic health attention; this motivated the community to bring services closer to them.

At H2E foundation we are highly encouraged to see the team spirit and ‘we can achieve’ attitude of these villagers who are basically small-scale farmers with hardly adequate income. We have joined hands and with the help of well wishers we have been able to raise funds to offset the outstanding bill on the ground. Having secured the grounds, we are now embarking on fundraising to see the dream of these hardworking rural folks come true.
